Getting married was one of the best days of my life, but it also piled on the pressure in heaps. When you’re about to be under the spotlight on your wedding day, you start to think about all the ways people will be analysing you, and in turn you start to over-analyse people’s analysis of you. It sounds confusing, but there’s so many things racing through your head on the day that the smallest thing can turn into a big deal.
I’ve always had quite bad skin, whilst all my friends had perfect smooth skin and it used to make me really jealous. Before and on my wedding day, I was lucky enough to have their valuable insight into good skincare and it made me feel a whole lot better about stepping out in front of everyone that day. Bad skin can be a real confidence blocker, but can be helped with a bit of work and can take away a whole load of unnecessary stress.
